There is something magical about stepping out onto a bright stage, knowing that all eyes are on you and it is your time to shine! Youth On Stage makes it possible for every young person who participates in our theater class to have this time. Every young person is guaranteed their moment on stage in our musical production, singing songs with the chorus, becoming a character in the show or any other part of what makes each production great - our cast! Our choreographer will teach each class a variety of common stage dance steps, using these to liven up the musical number in the show. Our voice coach will teach students the finer points of proper singing while also helping them learn the songs included in each show. The director will teach all students basic stage terminology and etiquette, giving them line memorization techniques, audition tips and much more, while working toward putting all this together into one amazing production! Every student, no matter which team he or she chooses to join, will also learn all three aspects of music theater.
